Green Teas
Green tea is simple, clean and often boasted for its superior health benefits. The most popular tea in Japan, it is often enjoyed for it’s great taste and the unique ability to have a wide variety of distinct flavor profiles through it’s 2 different styles of processing. Due to the nature of green tea, it aids immensely in digestion, and is therefore frequently enjoyed with a meal.
The two methods of green tea processing are the chinese and the japanese styles. The chinese style uses a wok, creating a more smoky flavor, while the Japanese style steams the tea, giving it a more vibrant taste. We have both here at The Tea Merchants as well as other blends for your pleasure.
